Gilliam , age 79, died Oct 15, 2006. Born in Pike Co., Wendell was the son of the late Winfield and Anna Lou Hamilton Gilliam. He was a member of the Coal Run Church of Christ, owner of the Gilliam Texaco Service Station and Gilliam Cable TV, and a veteran of World War II. Along with his parents, Wendell was preceded in death by his wife: Berniece Chaffins Gilliam and one sister: Ima Jean Newsome.
