Cora Elkins Howell , age 87, died Nov. 30, 2006
  
Born at Dorton,KY, Cora was the daughter of the late Jack and 
Roxie Branham Elkins. She was a nurse and was preceded in 
death by her husband, Jake Howell,Sr.a daughter, brothers: 
Bill Elkins, Forester Elkins, Floyd Elkins, Albert Elkins, and 
James Elkins; sisters: Mary Lucas, Virgie Johnson, Clara 
Cartwright, and Goldie Elkins. 


Survivors include: 

One son: Jake (Rita) Howell, Jr. of Pikeville 

One daughter: Vickie L. Howell of Greenville, TN 

Two grandchildren: Amanda Howell Hicks of Pikeville and 
Jason Howell of Lexington,KY 

Three sisters: Mollie Mullins of Wytheville, VA; Betty Jarvis 
of Prestonsburg and Violet Mullins of Jenkins,KY
 

Visitation:  At J. W. Call Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Friday  

Funeral Service:  Dec. 3, 2006, 1:00 PM Sunday at J. W. Call Funeral Home with 
Regular Baptist Ministers officiating  

Interment:  Johnson Memorial Park
