Faye Louise Maynard, age 84, of Pikeville passed away Thursday, 
June 15, 2006 at the Pikeville Medical Center. 

She was a Homemaker and a member of the Regular Baptist Church. 

She was born in Pike County, Kentucky on September 18, 1921 the 
daughter of the late John Henry Lyons and Captola Susie Hamilton Lyons. 

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wade 
Maynard and three sons, William O. "Cotton" Maynard, Kenneth Maynard and 
Troy Maynard and two daughters, Eillene Clevinger and Geraldine Maynard. 
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, William Ollie Lyons and Elisha 
Zack Lyons and three sisters, Bessie Morris Wilda King and Mary Belle Lyons. 

Faye is survived by one son, Russell Arnold Maynard of Pikeville and four daughters, 
Glendora Coleman and her husband, Gene of Dandridge, Tennessee, Zora May and 
her husband, Bobby of Pikeville, Nancy Blackburn of Pikeville and Phyllis Maynard 
of Turkey Creek and her son-in-law, Clyde Clevinger of Canada. 

She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 
great-great-grandchildren. 

Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Maynard, Randy Maynard, Doug Maynard, 
Alvin Gross, Gene Hensley and Jonathan May.
 
Visitation:  after 6pm, Friday in the J.W. Call Funeral Home Chapel  

Funeral Service:  1:00pm., Sunday, June 18, 2006 in the J.W.Call Funeral Home 
Chapel with Troy Tackett and Nelson Damron officiating  

Interment:  Pikeville City Cemetery
