Loving mother of Linda (Ronald) Kaiser, Iris Lee (Melvin) Underwood, Elizabeth Jane (Lawrence) Wolosiewicz, Patricia Jo (Mickey) Hatfield, and Sonia (Brent ) Sundberg. Beloved grandmother of Kristie, Eric, Kelly, Derric, Nathan, Ruth, Andrea, Beth Ann, Adam, Jeremy, Brandon, Kirk, Erin, Victoria, Kaci, and the late Rebecca. Great grandmother of Hannah, Logan, Evan, Sidney, Nick, Trenton, Houston, Alivia, Paige, Luke, Jerrilynn, Kendall, and Shyan. Sister of Joseph, Herman, Leonard, the late James, Josephine, Jess and Sara. Sadie was a WWII Rosie Riveter, worked with the USO, an Elder in the Peter Creek Presbyterian Church, taught Women's Sunday School Classes, was involved with the Kiwanis, Habitat for Humanity and lectured on the famous Hatfield and McCoy feud. She loved to watch her garden and grandchildren grow. The family will receive friends Tue, 4-9pm with a 7pm service at the Modetz Funeral Home, 100 E . Silverbell, Orion, MI. A visitation will also take place at the Kerr Funeral Home, 3421 Harrodsburg Rd, Lexington, KY on Thu, June 7, 2007, 6pm until 9pm with a service to follow on Fri at 10:30am. Sadie's grandchildren will serve as her pallbearers. Interment Lexington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Habitat for Humanity P.O. Box 2947, Pikeville, KY 41502.
