Clara Bell Meade, age 77, of Pikeville, passed away, Thursday, November 9,  
2006 at her residence. 

She was a former Nurse Aid at Pikeville Methodist Hospital and Cook at Pikeville 
College, she attended the United Baptist Church. 

She was born in Pike County, Kentucky on June 10, 1929 the daughter of the 
late Kennis P. Meade and Luvicie Jane Compton Meade. 

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Willie 
Edward Meade, Columbus Meade and Albert Homer Meade and one sister, Sylvia 
Meade. 

She is survived by two sisters, Audrey Meade of Pikeville and Dorothy Bowen 
of Baxter, Tennessee. 

She is also survived by several Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
 
Visitation: in the J.W. Call Funeral Home Chapel after 6p.m., Friday, with services 
each evening at 7p.m.  

Funeral Service:  11:00a.m., Sunday, November 12, 2006 at the Cynthiana United Baptist 
Church, Hurricane Road, with Albert King and others officiating 
 
Interment:  Compton Cemetery - Gap Branch Road, Pikeville, Kentucky
