James Virgil Newcomb Sr., 72, of Ironton, died Thursday
 in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.

He was born July 4, 1934, in Pikeville, Ky.

His wife, Lorita Hamilton Newcomb, survives.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Phillips Funeral 
Home in Ironton. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
