He was a Crain lineman for United Steel Workers for 32 years. He was born in Pike County, Kentucky on August 18, 1936, the son of the late Walter and Eddie Rhodes Parker. Robert was preceded in death by a brother. He is survived by a former wife Dollie Sue Parker. He is also survived by three sons Roger Parker his wife Edith of Lorain, Ohio, Thomas Walter Parker his wife Cora of Fisherville, Kentucky and Elwood Lock, Jr. of Lorain, Ohio. He is also survived by four by four daughters Debbi Becraft her husband Matt of Danville, Kentucky, Wanda Ratcliff her husband Roger of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Barbara Graham her husband Ray of Pikeville, Kentucky and Patricia Russo of Huron, Ohio. Also survived by six brothers and four sisters. Robert "Jake" Parker is also survived by eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Robert "Jake" Parker will be sadly missed by his family, loved one and many friends. In Lieu of Flowers the family has requested that contributions may be made for Jake Parker's great-grandson Dalton Lock at Rinbown Babies and Children's Hospital, 11100 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44106. Active Pallbearers are Thomas Parker, Kendall Murphy, Harley Becraft, Debbi Becraft, Melissa Murphy, Barbara Graham. Funeral will be held Thursday June 7, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the J.W. Call Funeral Home with Steven D. Knisley officiating. Interment: Annie E.
