She was a Homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Valley Methodist Church. She was born in Pike County, Kentucky on March 9, 1927 the daughter of the late Henry and Roma Little Tackett. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earmel Ratliff in 1983 and also by one sister, Mary McMillan. She is survived by two sons, Paul Ratliff of Pikeville and Larry Ratliff of Fayetteville, North Carolina and two daughters, Charlotte Chapman and Joann Hunt, both of Jackson, Kentucky. Four sisters, Pearl Newsome of McDowell, Ky., Lorraine Damron of Virgie, Martha Slone of Virgie and Angie Adams of Jonancy. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Serving as Pallbearers will be Kevin Chapman, Scotty Burns, Earl Chapman II, Freddie Ray Blackburn, Anthony Ratliff and Milton Barbie. Visitation: after 7p.m., Wednesday in the J.W. Call Funeral Home Chapel with evening services Thursday at 7pm with Roy Smith officiating Funeral Service: 11:00a.m., Friday, November 10, 2006 in the J.W.
