Jessie James Rowe, 57, of Kimper, died Thursday, May 3, 2007
at his residence. Born Oct. 9, 1949 in Pike County, he was a son 
of the late Otis Rowe and Ilene Davis. He was a coal miner and 
a member of Old Regular Baptist Church. 

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Rowe; and 
two sisters, Patty Jean Rowe and Betty Sue Rowe. 

Survivors include his wife, Janice Damron Rowe of Kimper;
 three sons, Tavie Rowe and Jessie Wayne Rowe, both of Kimper, 
and Eddie Dean Rowe of Regina; a stepson, Ray Gibson; a 
daughter, Beverly Stiltner of Grapevine; Julius " Donnie " Rowe 
and Paul Rowe and Phyliss Rowe and Jackie Fife; 17 grandchildren; 
and 2 great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services were Sunday, May 6 at Pikeville Funeral Home, 
Pikeville, with Jimmy Dale Sanders, Mitch Coleman, James Young, 
Harold Ramey, and other Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. 
Burial was in R.H. Ratliff Cemetery under direction of Pikeville Funeral 
Home.
