Alice Mae Robinson McQuerry Smith, 70, of Nicholasville, died Tuesday,  
Sept. 26, 2006, at St. Joseph Hospice Care.

She was born in Mercert County, Dec. 28, 1935, a daughter of the late 
Floyd and Ruby Robinson.

She was an Avon representative, and a member of Roberts Chapel.

She was preceded in death by her foster mother, Willa Dee Roberts; 
her first husband, Ronald McQuerry who died in 1960; and her second husband, 
Clarence “Smitty” Smith, who died in 2005.

She is survived by two sons, Ronald D. McQuerry and Stephan D. McQuerry; 
two daughters, Sherry Gardner and Donna Luke; five step children; one sister, 
Roberta Clapitt; two half-brothers, Bobby Ray Robinson and Dickie Robinson; 
one half-sister, Patty Robinson; nine grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 29, in the Hager & Cundiff Funeral 
Home Chapel with burial following in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are 
under direction of Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home of Nicholasville.
