Benny Allen Stewart, 44, of Virgie, died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, 
at his home.

He was born in Pike County, Nov. 19, 1962, a son of the late Webster 
Newsome and Melster Damron. He was the adopted son of the 
late Robert Stewart.

He was disabled, formerly employed by Mare Creek Sand & Coal 
Company, and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his companion, Evelyn Damron; one son, Trinity 
Stewart of the home; two daughters, Bridgette Stewart of Indiana 
and Destinee Stewart of the home; two brothers, Jack Newsome 
of Pikeville and Nick Stewart of Russell Springs; and two sisters, 
Dianah Trayer and Anthe Smith of Russell Springs.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, in the 
Lucas & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Freewill Baptist ministers 
officiating. Burial will follow in the Dow Brooks Cemetery. 
Arrangements are under direction of Lucas & Son Funeral Home 
of Pikeville.

Special services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
