Kathleen Meade Turner, 76, of Pikeville, died Friday, Dec. 8, 2006, 
at Pikeville Medical Center.

She was born in Pike County, June 13, 1930, a daughter of the 
late Steve and Lily Ericks Meade.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist 
Church of Pikeville.

She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Grace Williams 
Meade; and four brothers, Kelly Meade, Donnie Meade, Bob Meade, 
and Arvin Meade.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Turner; two sons, Robert 
Steven Justice of Harold and Neal Justice of Lookout; one daughter, 
Kathy Strouth of Lookout; one half brother, Jasper Adkins of 
Tennessee; two stepbrothers, Lowell Thomas Williams of Michigan, 
and Donald Williams of Pikeville; one sister, Madeline Miller of Johns Creek; 
one half sister, Faye Hutchinson of Chicago, Ill.; three step sisters, Joetta 
Meade, Trevia Prater and Nita Compton; six grandchildren; and six 
great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, Dec. 11, in the Lucas 
and Son Funeral Home chapel with Arnold B. Johnson officiating. 
Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young cemetery. Arrangements 
are under the direction of Lucas and Son Funeral Home.

Special services will be held nightly at 7 p.m. at the funeral home
