Vincent E. Tygart  
 
Age:  81 
 
Born in Vulcan,WV, Vincent was the son of the late Henry and 
Mary Lou Blankenship Tygart. He was a member of the Piso 
Freewill Baptist Church and a cross country truck driver, as well 
as a veteran of World War II and Korea and a lifetime member of the DAV. 

Survivors include: 

His wife: Christene Thompson Tygart 

One son: Gary Tygart of Ft.Pierce, FL 

Two daughters: Jeannie (James) Sellards of Vulcan,WV and Debi 
(Sid) Roan of Lewisville,TX 

Three stepdaughters: Melissa (Tim) Blackburn and Chrystal (Leonard) 
Young both of Morehead,KY and Patricia Newman of Pikeville,KY 

Six brothers: Larry Tygart, Darryl Tygart, and Johnny Tygart of Oklahoma; 
Kenneth Tygart of Arizona, Bobby Tygart of Connecticutt, and Leonard 
Tygart of Colorado 

One sister: Francis Kernan of Colorado 

Twenty grandchildren 

Several great grandchildren 

Military rites will be conducted by Chapter 141 of the DAV at Belfry,KY 
 
Visitation:  At Apple Orchard Regular Baptist Church after 6:00 PM Monday  

Funeral Service:  11:00 AM Wednesday at the church with Regular Baptist 
ministers officiating  

Interment:  Apple Orchard Cemetery - Brushy Road
