Born in Pike County, Kentucky, on October 21, 1920, Jim was the son of the late William and Florence (Arwood) Wallace. He was a graduate of Wayland High School in Floyd County, Kentucky and attended Canie College. On July 11, 1941, in Kentucky, Jim married his wife of over 65 years, Agnes Goodall. He was employed with National Lead in Fernald, Ohio, retiring with 52 years of service. He was a WWII US Army Veteran, a member of the AmVets and the VFW. Jim is survived by his wife, Agnes Wallace; daughter, Anita "Chickie" Massey and husband Richard of Hamilton; three grandchildren, Mark Massey and wife Susan of Hamilton, Mike Massey of Florida, and Lori Massey of Hamilton; four great-grandchildren, Amber, Bryan, Trevor and Tessa Massey; brother-in-law, Walter Adams; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 2421 Princeton Pike, Hamilton, at 1pm on Friday, June 15, 2007, with Pastor Grant M. Montgomery officiating. Entombment will follow in the chapel. Family and friends will be received prior to the service from 12noon to 1pm at the chapel. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Animal Adoption Foundation, 2480 Millville-Ross Road Hamilton, OH 45013.
