She was born in Canada, in Pike County, she had resided in Dallas, Texas and Cincinnati, Ohio. She retired to Clearwater after many years as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for the State of Ohio. She was honored numerous times with a listing in Who’s Who in American Women for her accomplishments. Her hobbies were golfing, reading, bridge and gemstone collecting. She was preceded in death by her sister, Edith L. Weddington. She is survived by one son, Stephen (Angela) Nunley of Liberty Hill, Texas; one daughter, Angela Kay (Aaron) Michalski of Farmers Branch, Texas; three brothers, Russell (Janet) Weddington of Farmville, Va., Buddy C. Weddington of Galloway, Ohio, and Sam (Deborah) Weddington of Abington, Va.; seven sisters, Gladys Runyon of Aurora, Colo., Faye (Wayne) Blackburn and Ernestene (Joe B.) Varney, both of Sidney, Phyllis (Gene) Music of Portage, Mich., Mabel (Robert) Kitchen of Bethel, Ohio; and Sue (Richard Kupchunas of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Kaye Gutowski of Dayton Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren, Ryan, Bonnie, Hope and Tequilla of Texas; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were under direction of Kersey Funeral Home, Auburndale, Fla. The family ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to Hospice Foundation of Florida Suncoast, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd. Clearwater, Fla. 33760. This is a paid obituary.
