Delphia West , age 88, died 12-10-2006

Born in Pike Co., Delphia was the daughter of the late Moses 
and Martha Fields Sword. She worked at Jerry's Restaurant and 
Mullins High School as a cook for many years. Along with her parents, 
Delphia was preceded in death by a son: Lonnie Hugh West and 
9 brothers and 6 sisters. 

Survivors include: 

Her husband: Carl West 

three sons: Walter Lee West of Dillon, CO, Denzil West of Clearwater, FL, and Michael West of Island Creek 

Two daughters: Donna Gibson of Pikeville and Brenda Brown of Raccoon,KY 

One brother: Langley Sword of Tulsa, OK 

12 grandchildren 

22 great grandchildren 

3 great great grandchildren 
 

Visitation:  At J. W. Call Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Tuesday  
Funeral Service:  1:00 PM Thursday at J. W. Call Funeral Home 
with Regular Baptist Church  

Interment:  Virgil Sword Cemetery- Island Creek
