She was born in Pike County, Aug. 25, 1918, a daughter of the late Nelson and Zella Akers Bentley. She was a homemaker and a member of the Stone Coal Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceeded in death by her husband, John H. Webb (Son of Dennie and Hattie J. Buckley Webb) one son, Johnny Webb, and two daughters: Constance "Connie" S. Webb and Brenda A. Webb. She is survived by six sons: Homer "Douglas" Webb of Amelia, Ohio Richard "Earnie" Webb of Independence Kenneth W. Webb of Kimper Dennie L. Webb of Pikeville Ralph A. Webb of Butler Rickie D. Webb of Fr. Rucker, Ala Four Daughters: Lerlie J. Blankenship of Pike County Linda Lou Miller of Dublin, Ohio Carolyn S. LaFayette of Florida Lida Mae Little of Pikeville; 35 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, in the Stone Coal Freewill Baptist Church, with Michael Browning officiating. Burial followed in the Webb Family Cemetery, Upper Chloe. Arrangements were under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home of Robinson Creek.
