He was born in Pike County, Aug. 20, 1926, a son of the late Walker and Renda Taylor White. He was disabled, a former coal miner, and of the Freewill Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Stoney White, Billy Joe White, and Ballard White. He is survived by his wife, Anna White; two brothers, Fox Henry White of Avon Lake, Ohio, Mont White of Solsberry, Ind.; and five sisters, Eula White of Solsberry, Shelby Willis of Prestonsburg, Gladys Ethel Ryan of Dayton, Ohio, Alice New of Spencer, Ind., and Margaret Hoover of Brookfield, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20, in the Lucas & Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Don Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
