Sharon K. Slone

Sharon K. Slone, 41, of Pikeville, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003, 
at Meta, the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

She was born in Pike County, Aug. 2, 1962, a daughter of 
Noah Slone of Pikeville and the late Holly Justice Slone.

She was a quality tester at Mountain Top Baking, a member of 
United Steelworkers, treasurer of the union, and a member of 
the Primitive Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Cora Slone.

Besides her father, she is survived by three brothers, 
Noah Slone Jr. and Timothy Allen Slone Sr., both of Pikeville, 
Hibbard Gary Slone of the home; and one sister, Rosemary 
Slone of the home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, in the 
Louisa Primitive Baptist Church, Rocky Road, Millard, with burial 
following in the Annie E. Young Cemetery, Chloe Road. 
Arrangements are under direction of Thacker Memorial Funeral 
Home of Pikeville.
