Kathy Karen Ball, 46, of Williamson, W.Va., died Friday, 
Nov. 7, 2003, at Williamson Memorial Hospital, Williamson.

She was born in Pike County, July 23, 1957, a daughter of the 
late Ben and Elsie New Blankenship.

She was a retired licensed practical nurse.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Blankenship

She is survived by her husband, Rocky Ball; one son, Rocky Ball Jr. 
of North Matewan, W.Va.; three brothers, Ben Blankenship Jr. and 
Larry Blankenship, both of Edgarton, W.Va., Tommy Blankenship 
of Freeburn; two sisters, Eula Wright of Hickory, N.C., Phyllis 
Smikey of Summersville, S.C.; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, in the 
Full Gospel Church, Matewan, W.Va., with Fred Taylor and David 
Smith officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Chambers
Funeral Services Inc. of Matewan.
