Ronald Skeens

Ronald Dale Skeens, 46, of Big Hackneys Creek, Mouthcard, 
died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2002, at Mouthcard.

He was born in Grundy, Va., Nov. 12, 1956, a son of the late Lonnie 
Louis and Margaret Ann Sullivan Skeens.

He was a retired coal miner.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Skeens; three sons, Ronald 
Dwayne Skeens of Johns Creek, Tommy Skeens of Kimper, 
Ronald Dale Skeens Jr. of Mouthcard; four daughters, Jessica Skeens 
of North Carolina, Monica Danielle Skeens and Glenda Michelle 
Skeens, both of Mouthcard, Michelle Justice of Chloe Creek; 
four stepchildren, William, Anna, Tamieka Ratliff and 
Homer Bostic Jr., all of Pikeville; one brother, Lonnie Skeens Jr. 
of Mouthcard; four sisters, Carolyn Skeens of Pikeville, 
JoAnn Miller of Feds Creek, Sandy Skeens Grose of 
Elkhart, Ind., Melissa Wolford; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 6, in the 
Jesus Tabernacle Church, Steele, with the Rev. Hobert McCoy 
officiating.

Burial will follow in the Miller Cemetery, Motley Creek.
Arrangements are under direction of Bailey Funeral Home of
Elkhorn City.
