Charles Smith

Charles Henry Smith, 62, of Russell Springs, formerly of Canada, 
died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2002, at North Audubon Hospital, Louisville.

He was born at Stone, March 18, 1940, a son of the late 
Fannie Jane Stanley Smith.

He was retired from the Ford Motor Wheel/Parts Factory and was 
a member of the Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Jane Stanley.

He is survived by his former wife, Jean Smith; one brother, 
Phillip Stanley of Canada; and three sisters, Lou Ellen Bunn of 
Canada, and Dianna Sue Bevins and Betty Francis Varney, both of Archdale, N.C.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, in the 
Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dennis Smith and 
others officiating. Burial will follow in the Trout-Smith
Cemetery, Stone. Arrangements are under direction of 
Rogers Funeral Home of Belfry.

Visitation is after 6 p.m. Friday with special services at 7.
