She was born in Pike County, Feb. 12, 1922, a daughter of the late Audie Douglas and Florence Wright Puckett. She was a homemaker and a member of the Sulphur Springs Regular Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leva Hylton; and one son, Gary Richard Hylton. She is survived by one son, Ricky Edwin Hylton of Ashcamp; five daughters, Nancy Belle Belcher, Joyce Leigh Overstreet, Loretta Joan Hines and Vickie Lynn Standifur, all of Elkhorn City, Trissia Gail Murphy of Ashcamp; three brothers, Herman Puckett of Ashcamp, Audie Jr. Puckett of Middlesburg, Ind., LeMorn Quesenberry of North Carolina; two sisters, Ellen Overstreet of Jackson Branch and Stella Jean McCoy of Regina; 18 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, in the Sulphur Springs Regular Baptist Church with Jerry Overstreet, Larry Puckett and David O’Quinn officiating. Burial will follow in the Elkhorn City Cemetery.
