He was born in Louisa, Oct. 29, 1935, a son of the late Kash Ledford and Laura Burton Ledford "Cordial" Seeber. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, a member of Masonic Lodge #656 of Maytown, Syrian Shrine Temple of Cincinnati, and Shepherd Temple of Gravitt, Ark. He was born in Williamson, W.Va., March 20, 1937, a son of the late Purless and Macie Daniels. He was a retired coal miner and was of the Apostolic faith. He was preceded in death by one one son, Luther Wayne Daniels; and one daughter, Sondra Kay Matney. She was born at Turkey Creek, Oct. 6, 1910, a daughter of the late Goodin and Ibba Burris Stanley. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom B. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nellie Coleman Dotson; six sons; and four daughters. He was a retired coal miner formerly employed by Island Creek Coal Company, and a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ervin Bentley and David Bentley; and two sisters, Pauline Adkins and Sue Balser. He is survived by his wife, Colleen "Gayle" Thacker Bentley; one brother, Clinard Bentley of Sutton Bottom; and one sister, Christine Coleman of Portsmouth, Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Bertha (Compton) Compton; one son, Charles Compton of Springhill, Fla.; one daughter, Josephine C. He was born at Shelbiana, Aug. 2, 1918, a son of the late Garlan Winfield and Bessy Dee Lemaster Setser. He was a retired railroad engineer for the C&O Railroad and a member of the Church of Christ at Shelby. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Bonita Jo Perry. He is survived by three sons, Raymond Setser Jr. and James David Setser, both of Charleston, S.C., Michael Lee Setser of Elizabethtown; two daughters, Susan Jennifer Hornbeck and Winnie Kaye Wiseman, both of Louisville; one sister, Eulah Hutchinson of Louisville; and five grandchildren. Patsy Sue Damron, 56, of McVeigh, died Monday, Oct. 5, 1998, at the home of her daughter in Smyrna, Tenn. She was born in Pike County, Sept. 27, 1942, a daughter of Ollie James Anderson of Mayfield and the late James Hobert Anderson. She was a teacher at Belfry High School, a member of Women of the Moose, and a member of the McVeigh Church of God. Besides her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Tammy Lynn Damron-Kemp of Smyrna and Kimberly Ann Leedy of Kimper; and one grandchild, Micah Jaid Leedy of Kimper.
