To the Clerk of Pike County Court. This is to Certify that I am Willing for my daughter Emerila Neely to inter marry William Dillion Given under my hand this 24th August 1829 Rebecca Neely Teste Henry Smith William Neely -------------------------------------------------------------- Know all men by these presents that we William Dillion and Isaac Jackson are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the sum of fifty pounds lawful money for the true payment well and truly to be made we bind ourselves and each of our heirs severally firmly and jointly by these presents Sealed with our seals and dated this 24th day of August 1829.- The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas there is a marriage shortly intended to be had and solemnized Between said Dillion and Emerila Neely of this County if therefore there shall be no Lawful cause to be obstruct said marriage then the above obligation to be void else to remain in full force and virtue in Law.
