Sir, please to grant John Blair Licens to marry Polly Baisden & you
will oblidge your most obt. Servent.

Pike County Kentucky State to wit -
This shall licence and permit you to John marrige according to the
Rights and Ceremonies of the Church to which you belong John Blair
and Polley Baisden and for so doing this shall be your sufficient
Warrant given under my hand this 5th Day of May 1823.

I Spencer Adkins Clerk of the Court for the County aforesaid where
as there is a marriage shortly intended to be had and solemnized
between John Blair and Polley Baisden of this County and the 
necessary proof and Certificate has been proved and produced in my
office Authorising me to Ishue these licence and the necessary
security has been given in my office according to Law.

herby certyfy that on the tenth of May 1823 I joined in marage John
Blear and Polley Basedon given under my hand.
