This Marriage Record was transcribed from an "original" copy of the
record from the County Clerks office for Pike County, KY. without 
any attempt to correct obvious errors in spelling.

State of Kentucky.
Pike County Sct.
This shall license and permit you to join in matrimony William T.
Mainer and Polly Stair daughter of _amuel Stair of the said _______
___cent being Legally given __ both parties and this s____ be to you
a sufficient guarantee for so doing. Given under my hand this 2_ __
October 1859.

To any Person legally authorized to celebrate the Rites of matrimony.
