File #143) This is to sertify that we William Davis and Mary Davis are Willing that Samuel Stare have our Daughter Nancy in marage and desiren you to grant licens for the same to Mr James Honaker CPCo. This is to sertify & that all parties is agreed that Samuel Stare and Nanc Hansley shold be marraed. Given under our hand this 23 Day of February 1826. The conditions of the above obligation are such that where as there is a marriage shortly intended to be held, and Solemnized between Samuel Starr and Nancy Hensley of this County, if therefore there shall be no Lawfull cause to obstruct said marriage. Then the above obligation to be void else to remain in full force power and virtue in Law. Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of Jas.
