Transcribed & Donated by - Martina Carpenter, martinacarpenter@charter.net Date: 25 Feb 2000 ************************************************************************ Grant South of Green River Anney Lee Pulaski County, KY Book 15 Page 173 - 174 FHC #0272835 Isaac Shelby Esq Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky to all to whom these presents shall come greeting know ye that by virtue and in consideration of a certificate number 954 granted by the County Court of Pulaski in February eighteen hundred and six agreeably to an act of assembly for settling and improving the vacant Lands of this commonwealth there is granted by the said commonwealth unto Anney Lee assee of Nathaniel Black a certain tract or parcel of land containing one hundred and fifty acres by survey bearing date the eighteenth day of October one thousand eight hundred and thirteen lying and being in the County of Pulaski on the waters of white Oak Creek and Bounded as followeth to wit Beginning on a Poplar and Dogwood where stands a white Oak running South forty six West one hundred and six poles to a red Oak and dogwood thence South fifty six West 40 poles to two white Oaks thence South thirty five East forty poles to a black Oak and poplar thence South fifty five East one hundred and forty poles to two poplar thence North forty East one hundred and thirty six poles to a double black Oak and Gum thence North twenty three East fifty six poles to Stephen Lees old Corner a black Oak and poplar thence North sixty six and a half West one hundred and fifty five poles to the Beginning with its appurtenances To have and To hold the said tract or parcel of Land with its appurtenances to the said Anney Lee and her heirs forever In witness whereof the said Isaac Shelby Esq Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky hath hereunto set his hand and caused the seal of the said commonwealth to be affixed at Frankfort on the twenty sixth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fourteen and of the commonwealth the twenty third.
