Pierce as his portion of the lands held jointly by him the said Hiram J. Pierce & John Pierce. The said tract is bounded as follows (towit) Beginning on Dick G. Lewis line near the west corner on a black oak hickory & dogwood, then N 140 poles to a white oak & dogwood on the cliff of White Oak Creek thence N60 E140 poles to a rock a conditional corner on Burton line between John Penington & Prudence Cox thence S140 poles to a rock in the edge of the road on the old military line thence N60 W140 poles to the Beginning. Whereupon said Deed of Conveyance together with this certificate hath been duly admitted to record in my office. Given under my hand this 6th day of June 1853. Att. James D.
