This Indenture of bargain Sale and Conveyance Made and entered into this first day of November 
1854 between Thomas Stogsdill of the County of Pulaski and State of Kentucky of the One part 
and John Stogsdill of the County of Owen & state of Indiana of the other part Witnesseth that 
for and in consideration of the sum of Twenty five dollars to the said John Stogsdill in hand 
paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have this day bargained and Sold and do by 
these presents give Grant bargain & sell unto the said Thomas Stogsdill all my right title and 
Claim in and to My undivided One tenth part of a Certain tract or parcel Land situate and being 
in the County of Pulaski and state of Kentucky On the waters of Buck Creek Containing about 150 
acres be the same more or less is being the same tract of land On Which Thomas Stogsdill decd 
lived & died the said Thomas Stogsdill to have and to hold the undivided interest aforesaid to 
him and his heirs forever and the said John Stogsdill hereby agrees that he will forever 
warrant and defend a good and valid title to the same against the claim of all persons 
whomsoever In testimony Whereof the said John Stogsdill hereto sets his hand and offiscis his 
seal the day month & years first above written

I Will M Fox Clerk of the County Court for the county aforesaid do certify that this deed from 
John Stogsdill to Thomas Stogsdill was this day produced to me in my office and acknowledged by 
the said John Stogsdill to be his act and deed Whereupon said deed and this certificate hath 
been duly admitted to record in My office Give under my hand this the 1 day of November 1854
