Waddle, brother-in-law of Gov.. E.P.Morrow, will be appointed postmaster of Somerset to succeed R.L. Brown, Democrat. So far no other name has been mentioned for the place and it is known that Mr. Waddle will have the endorsement of Congressman J.M. Robison, of the Eleventh Congressional district, as well as the backing of his brother-in-law, Gov. Morrow, and also the endorsement of his brother, B.L. Waddle, who is chairman of the Pulaski County Republican Committee. With the formidable support other aspirants seem to be wary about making any application. Mr. R.B.Waddle has made three races for county attorney and won two out of the three, having served two terms with four years intervening between the two.
