Born Jan. 5, 1921, in Magoffin County, she was the daughter of the late Proctor and Mattie Arnett Wireman. She was a homemaker, a member of Licking River Baptist Church in Royalton and the widow of Finley E. Arnett. Survivors include a daughter, Stella A. Phillips Prewitt of Lancaster; two sisters, June Watson of Beaver Creek, Ohio, and Molly Tate of Salyersville; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gloria A. Arnett. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Magoffin County Funeral Home by B.J. Taylor. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at Lancaster First Assembly of God Church and after 5 p.m. Wednesday at Magoffin County Funeral Home.
