D. 1855 between Chloe Adkins widow and Rial Adkins & Elizabeth Jane Adkins his wife Nancy Brinson late Nancy Adkins and Giles Brinson her husband Jemima Brinson late Jemima Adkins and James R. Brinson her husband heirs of James Adkins decd. of the county of Green and State of Indiana of the first part and William H. Alexander and Henry Bullock of the county of Pulaski and State of Kentucky of the second part Witnesseth --that the party of the first part for the aggreate Sum of one hundred and Seventy Six dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have this day sold and by these presents convey into the parties of the Second part and their heirs or assigns forever all their right title interest and claim as the widow and 3. three of the heirs of James Adkins decd in and to the following tract or parcel of land Situate lying -- and being in the county of Pulaski and State of Kentucky on the waters of Buck Creek on a branch called Whitestone Supposed in all to contain 250 acres towit, the several tracts of land which were patented to the said James Adkins at different times from the commonwealth of Kentucky and which (all together) constituted the home place of the said James Adkins decd. at the time of his death and are all the lands he owned in said county of Pulaski at the time of his death for further discription of said lands refferences is here made to the patents aforesaid The parties -- of the second part To Have and To Hold the interests aforesaid in the lands aforesaid to themselves their heirs and assigns forever and the parties of the first part agree and bind themselves to forever warrant and defend a good and lawful title to the interests conveyed by them as aforesaid to the parties of the second part and their heirs or assigns -- forever.
