Secondly: I will and bequeath to my wife Emelia Hargis all the property I possess at the time of my death both real and personal for her use during her national life and at her death to be disposed of as follows: Thirdly, It is my will that my Executor dispose of the personal property at public Sale and out of the proceeds thereof settle up all just debts and funeral expenses. Fourthly: It is my will that William Edward Herron have fifty dollars ($50) out of any of the proceeds of my personal property more the than either of his brothers or sisters. Fifthly: It is my will that what is remaining of the proceeds of my personal property after paying expenses be equally divided between William Edward Herron, James Harvey Herron, John Alexander Herron and Elizabeth Herron, heirs of Washington Herron & Sarah A. Herron. Sixthly: It is my will that my real estate and also two Share in the Bank of the National Banking Company of Somerset be also equally divided between the said William Edward Herron, James Harvey Herron and Elizabeth Herron. Lastly, I hereby appoint John Alexander Executor of this my last Will and testament. Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of witnesses This May 23rd 1890. Washington Hargis Att Wm H. Owens Wm Williams Codicil to this my last Will and Testament Since making this my last Will and testament my wife Emily and James Harvey and Elizabeth Herron having died - It is now my will that John Alexander Herron and William Edward Herron have all the remainder of my estate, both real and personal after all my just debts are settled. Given from under my hand this the 27th of February 1894. It is also my will that if either William Edward or John Alexander Herron ahould die without out ishue the other is to have his share Signed sealed in the presence of Washington Hargis attest James Doolin Wm Williams State of Kentucky County of Pulaski sct I, N. Barnett, clerk Pulaski County Court, do certify that the foregoing instrument of writing, purporting to be the last will and testament and codicil thereto of Washington Hargis dec, was at the May Term 1894, Pulaski County Court, produced in open Court and proven by the oaths of Wm H. Owens as to Will and Will & Codicil proven by Wm Williams and attestation of James Doolin, witness to Codicil, proven by oath of Wm Williams, and same was adjudged by the Court to the true last will and testament and Codicil thereto of Washington Hargis dec. and ordered to be admitted to record as such, which is now done accordingly Given under my hand this 28th day of May 1894 N.
