At a county court held for Pulaski County at the Courthouse in the Town of Somerset on monday The __ day of March 1843 - this account of Sales of the Estate of Edward Herrin decd was produced to the Court and being examined and approved by the Court was ordered to be recorded and the same is done accordingly--- Att Will Fox Clk Pulaski County Kentucky Deed...FHL #0804602 Thomas Stogsdill to Deed Herrin This deed made this 23rd day of October 1851 between Thomas Stogsdill of the County of Pulaski and State of Kentucky of the One part and the heirs at Law and legal Representatives of Edward Herrin decd-of the Other part Witnesseth that for and in Consideration of a Certain tract of Land Conveyed by Said Edward Herrin decd-in his lifetime to the aforesaid Thomas Stogsdill and is the Same place on which Thomas Stogsdill Jr. now lives. the Said Thomas Stogsdill Jr. has this day bargained and Sold and by these presents doth grant bargain Sell and Confirm unto the heirs of Said Edward Herrin decd- and their heirs and assigns forever a Certain tract or parcel of land Situate lying and in the County of Pulaski on the waters of Buck Creek Supposed to Contain 75 acres be the same more or less and is this East Side __ to the Branch this Conditional Line of the following tract of land Tract Beginning on a Post oak Shadrick Herrin North Corner ___ N20 E70 poles to an Elm 50 E62 poles to a Cedar Black oak and ___ thence N85 E160 poles to two post oaks thence S80 to 200 poles of Conditional line thence with said lines N10 poles to the Beginning Containing purchased deed acres be the same more or less together with __ to have and to hold no fee simple all and Singular the above ___ premises and every part and parcel thereof, it being a tract of land that was granted to John Singleton assignee of John Wasson who was assign of William Hargis by a patent bearing date the 2nd day of September 1851 To Thomas Stogsdill for his Selfe his heirs Executors Administrators and assigns Shall and will from time to time and as all time ____ Warrant and defend the above mentioned premises to the ___ ___ Edward Herrin aires Executor Administrator and assign from and against all Big Claims Little Claims as demands whatsoever by from or under them their heirs Executors Adminstrators or assignes or any of them.
