Allcorn, Clerk of the Pulaski County court do certify that the foregoing instrument of writing was produced to me in my office on the day of Oct 1858 and filed for .... Whereupon the same together with the certificate is now duly recorded in my office Given under my hand this 24th day of Aug 1859 At. J.D. Allcorn, Clerk Will of Seaton Lee, Sr., Will Bk 5, p. 367, Inventory, page 399 Sales bill, p. 401 In the name of God Amen, I Seaton Lee, Sr. of the county of Pulaski and State of Kentucky being at this present time of sound mind and good memory, and knowing that from my advanced age that I cannot remain long upon this earth; Do hereby make this my last will and testament in manner and form following to wit: My will and desire is that all my just debts be paid out of my estate by my executors herein after named. I wish my property divided among my children in the following manner: I wish and bequeath to my son John E. Lee the farm on which I now live containing 250 acres to him and his heirs forever with the appurtentances and improvements thereon; also my blacksmith tools. I also will and bequeath to my said son John E. Lee, my black boy Jacob, my rifle gun, one bed and furniture. Also one half of all the household and kitchen furniture. I also will and desire that my son Seaton Lee, Jr. have one bed and furniture, one horse and one cow to be kept by my son John E. Lee for his benefit. And wish that my said son, John E. Lee to take care of me during my life and after my decease to take charge of my son Seaton, Lee, Jr. and see that he is well treated during his life. I also will and bequeath to my son John in trust for the benefit of my said son, Seaton Lee, Jr. my negro girl Fanny and in the event that my son John E. Lee should outlive my son Seaton, Lee, Jr. the property hereby bequested to him shall remain and be possessed by my son John E. Lee. I will and desire that after my decease the remainder of my property not disposed of be equally divided among all my children; Stephen Lee, Polly Hay, Preston Mayfield Lee, John E. Lee, Elizabeth Lester, Pernetta Dick, Pamelia Lawson, and Seaton Lee, Jr. And lastly I hereby appoint my son John E. Lee and Samuel Dick, Executors of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills and testaments by me made. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 4th of December 1853. In addition to the above and foregoing will and testament. As my son Seaton Lee, Jr. has lately departed this life it is now my will and desire that my son John E. Lee shall have the negro girl Fanny together with all the property which I willed trust and designed for my said son Seaton Lee, Jr. now deceased.
