Mr. Tackett

Mr. Rans Tackett. 60, of  Robertson County, died Sunday September 4, 1994 at
his home. He was a retired farmer.  Born in Pike. County on April 8, 1934, he
was the son of the late Will and Martha Music Tackett .
Surviving are his wife Margaret Hickman Tackett: one brother, Acie Tackett, of
Melvin, one sister, Mrs. Goldie Mashburn of Quincy. He was preceded in  death
by eight brothers, Mid Tackett, Glen Tackett, Clarence Tackett, Curtis
Tackett, Raymond Tackett, Randolf Tackett , Rail Tackett, and Posie Tackett;
and four sisters; Bertha Little, Cynthia Gay Wells, Virdie Faye Tackett and
Velma Marie DiPrima. Services were held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 7,
1994, at  Wright's Chapel, in Garrison. Rev. Clarence Hall officiated, with
interment in Skidmore Cemetery at Garrison.
Robertson County Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
