Cox has a very sick child. -- Mrs. Jim Taylor is visiting relatives in Pulaski. -- Mrs. G. T. Johnson has been very sick this week. -- Will Smith will give up telegraphing and go to braking. -- S. E. Pennoington was in London Tuesday on business. -- P. E. Shivel of near Brodhead is reported seriously ill. -- Mrs. W. T. Davis has been very sick with the grip for several days. -- J. T. Chewning, the Livingston lumber man, was here Wednesday. -- Victor C. Tate was at home first of the week from Jacksboro, Tenn. -- James Chaney of Bloss attended Masonic lodge here Monday night. -- Tack Langford and his ebtire family have been down with the grip. -- C. E. Settle, the spoke and timber man, is doing a good business. -- John Pearl and Ruth Landrum have about recovered from their ilness. -- Tip Langford's son, Eddie, is recovering from his recent illness. -- Mr. W. A. B. Davis and little daughter, Joe, are very sick at this writing. -- E. Owens, of the Hiatt section, will move to Garrard county about the middle of next month. -- Mrs. E. B. Brown and little son, Jack, were very sick first of the week with grip, but are better. -- J. J.
