SHORTAGE: The Post Office Inspector made his regular visit to Pine Hill last Thursday, where he found a shortage of $200 in the account of Post Master Thomas better known as Dr. Thomas. When the Doctor made his appearance in this county, about eight years ago, no one knew from whence he came, and now no one knows whether he has gone, disappearing as if by magic. His bondsmen, Messrs. J. A. Dolan, B. C. Mullins and James Doan will have to make good the amount, which misfortune we regret very much for these splendid citizens.
