Larkin Johnathan Vanhook was likely born in Pulaski County, Kentucky, and was a 
son of Benjamin Lorton Vanhook and Permelia Unknown [Hicks or 
Curtley/Kirtley].  He first married Margaret (Elizabeth?)Robins in Washington 
County, Indiana on 26 August 1863.  On 15 October 1882, at the home of John K. 
West in Garrard County, Kentucky, Larkin Johnathan Vanhook married Mary G. 
Miller.  Larkin Johnathan Vanhook is buried in Goshen Cemetery, Lincoln County, 
Kentucky.
