Obituaries

Thomas Cracraft, 90

   SCITUATE -- Thomas B. Cracraft, 90, of Scituate, a former welder
for McGraw's in Ohio, and a veteran of the Navy, Coast Guard and
Marines, died of cancer Tuesday in the Scituate Ocean Manor Nursing
Home.

  He was born in Farmers, Ky., and received his education in
Hamilton, Ohio. He lived in Hamilton and Middletown, Ohio, before

moving to Scituate in 1991.

   Husband of the late Velma (Thomas) Cracraft, he is survived by a
daughter, Barbara A. Miraglia of Scituate; eight grandchildren,
five great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson. He was the
father of the late David W. Cracraft.

  A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Mary
of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent St. Burial will be in New St. Mary's
cemetery.

  Visiting is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Ernest A.
Richardson Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road.
