WARREN J. FLANNERY JR. DIES FROM STAFF AND SPECIAL DISPATCHES MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Warren J. Flannery Jr., a former state representative from Rowan County, died Sunday at his home. He was 72. Flannery served one term after he was elected in 1956. He was a master mechanic and was former co-owner of Rowan Motor Sales, a Ford dealership in Morehead, and Morehead Roller Rink. He was an Army veteran of World War II. His survivors include three sons, David and Daniel Flannery, both of Morehead, and Timothy Flannery of Louisville; four sisters, Ruby Maze of Fort Pierce, Fla., Jenny Stacy of New Boston, Texas, Barbara Flannery of Farmers, Ky., and Naomi Shell of Cleburn, Texas.; a grandchild; and a great- grandchild. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Northcutt & Son Funeral Home, with burial in Siloam Cemetery.
