"Chapman - Hadley Family Cemetery" Location: Hwy 379 out of Russell Springs, to junction with Hwy 619, turn right onto 619; go 0.3 mile to farm on the left (known as "old Ivan Lawless-Bernard farm"). The graves are located in a grove of trees on this farm, is about 0.5 mile from the hwy. to the graves. Condition: there has been dozer work in the grove area with a large pile of trees and such in one area. The area is open for grazing cattle and these have damaged many of the fieldstone-marked graves. The Chapman marked graves are fenced in to one side of the grove, but, there are fallen trees across the fence. 1) HADLEY, Mary E. - 1868 to 1955 2) HADLEY, John M. - 10 March 1859 to 5 Jan 1931 (stone is broken across death date) 3) HADLEY, Mamie E. - 8 Dec 1894 to 21 Apr 1933 4) HADLEY, Ruth Bell - 8 Feb 1898 to 11 Nov 1973 (stone is broken off base) 5) CUNDIFF, Pollie A. - "born in the year 1835, died 6 Aug 1896" 6) BLAKEY, Adline - 1868 to 1969 inscribed "father" 7) BLAKEY, Vie E. - 1866 to 1894 inscribed "mother" There are 27 "unknowns" - fieldstone marked graves Fenced in, "Chapman" cemetery: 1) CHAPMAN, Nacy - inscribed "died in 1895" 2) CHAPMAN, Erb - inscribed "died in 1900" 3) CHAPMAN, John - 26 Oct 1855 to 21 May 1928 4) CHAPMAN, Sallie A. - 20 June 1858 to 18 Jan 1935 5) SULLIVAN, Henry - (born and died ?) 25 Feb 1920 inscribed "son of Grover and Lillie Sullivan" This was abstracted by Garry L.
