The clock was invented by ELY TERRY and manufactured and sold by E.L. TERRY & Co. Plymouth conn. This clock is quite different from the present day timepieces, as it is operated by weights and cords instead of springs as at present. The wheels are also different from present day clocks as the wheels are made of wood. This clock which had not been in use for many years has recently been overhauled and broken cogs in the wheels replaced by Mr. O.A. LESTER, of Jamestown, who is a skilled mechanic. The clock came into the posession of Mr. LLOYD through his wife"s family, the DOKERY"S. According to the Courier-Journal SILAS HEADLY, Bristol Conn. manufactured wooden clocks from 1802 to 1849 OCC BOYS TO BE ENROLLED IN APRIL Sometime this coming month 23 more boys from this county will get a chance to enter the CCC. Judge DUNBAR has the information that Russell county has a bad report on boys deserting and coming home. If one boy can stay five years, why can"t others stay at least three months? If they can"t they should stay at home in the first place, and not knock some other poor boy out of going and out of the money who would be willing to stay. Those that go this time should show to everybody that Russell county boys have as much nerve as any other boys from other counties. It costs the county considerable to pay a certifying agent to make it possible to send you boys to the camps. If you dont aim to stay then dont grab something some other fellow would like to have. Stay at home with mother in the first place. The age limits have changed to some extent. SEVEN ARRESTS MADE SUNDAY Sheriff A.W. LEACH and Deputy Sheriff W.J.
