John Milligan served from Virginia 10 Regiment under
Capt. Waggoner and Col. James Woods.
Filed for Penison Aug 7 1818 age 80 years of age in Scott Co. Kentucky
stated he had no one, was blind, worked as a blacksmith until blindness.
served 1777 for three years. 
served 1783 at Battle of Brandywine.
discharged 1783 Winchester, Virginia.
