This Indenture Witnesseth that agreeable to an Order of the Worshipfull Court 
of Shelby County describing William RAVINSCRAFT Infant Orphan to be Bound 
agreeable to Law to David EDWARDS to Serve faithfully until he arrives to the 
age of twenty one years and the Said David EDWARDS on his part obliges himself 
to use his utmost endeavours to learn the Said Orphan the art trade or mistery 
of a Wheel right and give him at least one full years Schooling with Sufficient 
wearing apparel, also meel drink Washing and Lodging and further agree that at 
the experation of his Services that the Said EDWARDS will give him the Said 
Orphan a good and full Suit of clothes of a midling Broad cloth and Such other 
freedom dues as the Law requires Given under my hand the 16th day of June One 
thousand Seven hundred & ninety five.
