DEED: Blanton/Harris/Miller/Tucker, 1808, Shelby County, KY ---------- From: Ardahl Vicki Mitchell Date: Sunday, April 26, 1998 9:20 AM This Indenture made this 8 day of December in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and eight, between John Blanton of Shelby County and State of Kentucky of the one part and Thomas Tucker of the same county and state above mentioned. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of thirty four pounds paid in hand the receipt acknowledged have granted bargained and sold to the said Thomas Tucker a certain parcel or tract of land containing sixty three acres situate and lying in Shelby County on the dividing ridge between little plumb creek and elk creek being part of a tract of land granted to Charles Harris and bounded as follows. Beginning at Isaac Millers South East corner a beech and two sugartrees. Thence north seventy five West one hundred and thirty poles to a hickory and sugartree, thence South fifteen degrees West seventy seven poles to Isaac Millers and North East ____ a large beech a dogwood and blue ask saplings, thence South seventy five degrees East one hundred and thirty poles to the Beginning of this survey. To have and to hold the said sixty three acres of land with all the buildings and improvements on said land for the only use and behalf of him the said Thomas Tucker his heirs or assigns and ____ the said John Blanton his heirs executors or administrators doth agree with the said Thomas Tucker to warrant and will forever defend the right of said sixty three acres of land and promises afore mentioned from all and every persons claim or demand whatsomever that may arise against said land and promises and every thing appertaining thereto.
