V. Ross and Mary Ross his wife of the County of Shelby and State of Kentucky of the first and F. M. Shouse of the County of Shelby and State aforesaid of the second part Witnesseth that for and in consideration of Two hundred and Seventy Three 33/100 Dollars to be paid 25 December 1857 and the Sum of Two Hundred and Seventy Three 33/100 Dollars to be paid the 25th day of December 1858 and the sum of Two hundred and Seventy Three 33/100 Dollars to be paid on the 25th day of December 1859 the party of the first part do Bargain and Convey confirm Release and Grant To the party of the second part and his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of Land situate Lying and being in the County and State aforesaid on the Waters of Beech Creek and thus Bounded Beginning at a Stone in the Center of a Branch Corner to Ross’s line thence N71 W114 poles to a Stake thence N39 W14 poles to a Stone Corner to Shouse thence N39 #36 poles to a White Walnut and ash Stump thence N 33 1/2 E85 poles to a Stone Corner to J.
