Shelby County -?- To any Minister of the Gospel authorized to celebrate the 
Rites of Matrimony: You are hereby authorized to celebrate the Rites of 
Matrimony between Jeremiah Daniel and Susanna Gill according to the forms 
and customs of the Church to which you belong and for doing this shall be 
your -?-- and bond and security having been --?-- their for according to the 
law. Given under my hand this 20th day of March 1832: Att. Jas S Whitaker @ 
This shall oblige us our heirs (Ve) to be held and firmly bound unto the 
Commonwealth of Kentucky I the just and full sum of $50 for the payment of 
which we bind ourselves our heirs (Ve) jointly and severally and firmly 
given under our hand and seal this 19th day of March 1832. Received herein 
upon the condition their shall be no lawfufl cause to obstruct the marriage 
of Jeremiah Daniel and Susanna Gill, daughter of James Gill, he having come 
forth and given his consent thereto. Then this obligation to be void else 
bond to remain in in force and virtue.
